About Summer

Summer Chabbab is an aspiring fashion designer and a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree (Hons) in Fashion Design at the University of Bedfordshire. 

 

What made her want to become a fashion designer goes way back to when she was 13, she used to design outfits in her spare time often inspired by fictional characters who were often princesses or monsters. That was the inspiration behind her graduation collection known as 'Grim Tales', where she merged princesses and monsters together, reimagining fairy tale princesses  as monsters.

The aesthetics of her designs can be described as both feminine, playful, romantic, fantasy, while also being rebellious, gothic and dark at the same time.
